Did you know that you can now customize your Hashtags with a custom Avatar? Hashtracking Avatars display at the top of your reports, quickly branding and identifying your Hashtags
Why use an Avatar?
- Associate otherwise cryptic campaign messages with the related brand
- Personalize reports by adding your own logo to your hashtag chat or event reports
- Add your client’s logo to their campaign report before sharing it with them.
How to do it:
1. Save your custom logo or image that you wish to use as a Hashtag Avatar to your desktop
2. When you are initially setting up your hashtag, you will have the opportunity to add an Avatar in the dialog box you see below:
3. Select your file and proceed with hashtag set up. The logo will now display on all hashtag reports associated with this hashtag.
How to add Hashtag Avatars to a Hashtag you are already tracking:
If you are already tracking a hashtag and wish to add or change the avatar, this can easily be accomplished!
1. Save your custom logo or image that you wish to use as an avatar to your desktop
2. Visit the My Hashtags Page and click on Edit Hashtag for the tag you wish to add the avatar to.
3. In the dialog box (shown below) select your file.
4. Click on update to finish the process.
You can see an example of hashtag Avatars in use on the Hashtracking #MarchMadness Leaderboard. Team hashtags are branded with their logos, making them immediately identifiable to fans.
